YMRT is entirely volunteer-led. If you are a clinician with relevant experience, or someone who wants to support the team in a non-clinical capacity, we would like to hear from you.
Please note: YMRT does not recruit continuously. Clinical volunteering opportunities are subject to team capacity, appropriate experience and a structured assessment process. We will always respond to enquiries, but we cannot guarantee a position will be available.
Clinical volunteering
YMRT's clinical team includes doctors and paramedics with experience in emergency medicine, anaesthetics, paediatrics, prehospital care and acute medicine. If you are a clinician with relevant experience and an interest in prehospital emergency medicine, we would welcome your enquiry.
We offer structured pathways including observer opportunities for those earlier in their prehospital career, and clinical mentoring for those developing their practice.
Operational availability is built around volunteer clinicians' NHS commitments, with typical cover focused on weekends and night shifts where extra support is most needed.

There are also opportunities to support YMRT in a non-clinical capacity. We are a small, volunteer-led organisation and there are always areas where additional support can make a difference.
